Soon support for Azure Database for MySQL - Single Server will end.

  1. Is it ok if I move Azure Database for MySQL - Single Server to SQL Elastic Pool?
  2. If I move Azure Database for MySQL - Single Server to SQL Elastic Pool the application working with the current database will be disconnected?
  3. Any other solution to upgrade Azure Database for MySQL - Single Server without affecting current workload or making any changes in infrastructure?

Hi, @Brijesh Muliya Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A platform, thanks for posting the question and for using Azure Services.
As I understand you want to migrate to SQL Elastic pool from Azure Database for MySQL - Single Server as the support for MySQL is ending soon.
I would understand why you want to move to the Azure Elastic pool?
Single Server users are recommended to move to Flexible Server. When you migrate to Flexible Server, your RI reservations can be exchanged with Flexible Server so you see continued discounted prices as you move from Single to Flexible Server. Please read this document for more information

For Migrating to the flexible server, there are both offline and online migration scenarios to help you select the right tools
