Learn the methods to recover from using the tool by booting into safe mode and running one or more of these commands:
verifier /reset
verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail
Plan to run WDV for 48 hrs to detect misbehaving drivers and for an additional 24 hours after the last BSOD.
Start the testing with these customized settings:
a) Test all non-Microsoft drivers
b) Test no Microsoft drivers
c) Start the customized tests with the three tests displayed in the Ten Forums link
If there is no immediate BSOD then open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
verifier /querysettings
