Uaneble to open teams chatfiles (only MS office files) shard by other users

Hi, we have several user that is unable to open files from Teams chat shared by other users. This only affects MS office files, any other filestypes is not affected.
If we click on the three dots to the right, and select "open in desktop app" the files open fine.
Limited-access user permission lockdown mode is not activated.

Microsoft 365 admin users have access to diagnostics that can be run within the tenant to verify possible issues with accessing files shared in Teams. You could run it and find if there is any error message from it.
