Currently there is no graph API available to stop recording for a teams online meeting.

I thought this is to stop/start a recording for ongoing teams meeting.

updateRecordingStatus API is to update the application's recording status associated with a call. This requires the use of the Teams policy-based recording solution.
As per the documentation, these are policy-based recording, and the status will be used by Azure BOT to indicate whether the recording has completed or failed.
