Personal Android Enterprise WiFi Configuration Profile

Have set up a Personal Android Enterprise Wi-Fi Configuration Profile with a Dynamic Device Group Assignment based around it being a personal device and the Android Operating System.

My expectation was that when I enrolled the BYOD Android Enterprise work profile on my BYOD Android, it would at the same time push the Wi-Fi Config profile to said device.

However it isn't, it's just sitting there doing nothing (See Screenshot).

Bit of a naff question but does the device need to be in the vicinity of the SSID to push down to the Android Device? My thoughts are that it should push down to the phone on enrollment or during the 8 hour sync.

Any ideas, gratefully received.

    1. Not sure what you mean by resetting the device are you talking about a) Basic Reset to Factory Setting or b)a Recovery Reset, which would wipe the Personal Data on the phone or are you talking about c) retiring the device on Intune and then creating a Corporate Owned Device with Work Profile.

    If it's the first 2 options, then that's a bit of a none starter as the owner of the phone would not want to do that and if it's the third option would the owner of the phone want to be entirely corporate managed.
