Visual Studio Code stopped opening terminal in current work directory

A few days ago I was programming as usual and then I went to run my project, only for the visual studio code integrated terminal to tell me my file didnt exist. VS code for some reason started running all of my terminals in the windows powershell directory (C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0) instead of my current one, I don't know how to fix this and it's annoying to move to the actual directory everytime.
Please help and lmk if you need more information, this is my first time using these forums!
