Excel on the web not allowing Office Scripts

I'm trying to use simple Office Scripts in Excel on the web. I see the "Automate" tab, but when I select it all the items are greyed out and not clickable. If I save a copy of the file and open it off the web I can use Office Scripts just fine. I have verified with admin that the setting are correct on their end. Any idea what I'm missing?
