I am trying to use the "Provision desktop devices" option in Windows configuration designer, but when I create a new project with that option the GUI does not respond to my input. The GUI also does not look like what is usually presented in all of the tutorials I have seen (see screenshot below). I am using Windows 11 version 22H2 with Bitdefender Endpoint Security Tools installed. Advanced provisioning works but I am not interested in that. 278122-screenshot-2023-01-10-174711.png

    See the following article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configuration/provisioning-packages/provisioning-install-icd#current-windows-configuration-designer-limitations

    Primarily the section that states:

    • Windows Configuration Designer doesn't work properly when the Group Policy setting Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Security Zones: Use only machine settings is enabled. When this policy is set, each step will display oversized buttons that fill the Windows Configuration Designer window. Additionally, the various options and descriptions that are normally to the right of the buttons won't be displayed because the buttons take up all of the space in the Windows Configuration Designer window. To resolve the problem, run Windows Configuration Designer on a device that doesn't have this policy enabled.
