Roadmap and gaps between config. mgr and intune

In our organization, we use Configuration Manager extensively and Intune marginally. I see various benefits shifting functionality (app. deployments/updates, etc.) to Intune, although there seem to be some limitations to Intune.

Would it be correct to say that Configuration Manager becomes deprecated at some point in time ?

Or will both solutions be maintained and should I keep in mind that they will co-exist?
