Calendar items disappearing randomly

We have a situation where one of our executives calendar items disappearing randomly. It is not happening for all items but some. When we check audit logs, it says hard delete operation performed by his assistant but it was not done. When we checked search mailbox, we found those items in "purges" folder. His assistant has got delegate access but no such action was performed. an user cannot put items in the purges folder by themselves. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @GoodResource ,

    Does this issue affect the assistant's own calendar?
    Do these disappeared items have anything in common?

    Based on my experience, I'd suggest checking if the assistant has any calendar related third-party add-ins enabled in Outlook clients. If yes, you can try disabling them and monitor some time to see the result.

    Besides, you may consider removing the assistant's permissions and then assigning permissions again to check if there would be any difference.
