About Block file type list block folder name in SharePoint server 2019 latest update

Hello,

After I upgrade to the latest version, I found that the block file type not only block file extensions, but also block the folder name. For example, the “ws” was appended in the block file list of WebApplication1, then i create a folder named ‘aws’ in a library under this Webapplication, it shows me “The file you are attempting to save or retrieve has been blocked from this Web site by the server administrators.”

The question I want to ask is: Is this our real intention?

    Hi @Addison Jiang ,

    As per my test, I didn't reproduce this issue on my SharePoint Server 2019 which has installed the latest CU KB 5002329. To troubleshoot this issue, could you please verify the scope of this issue? If you go to another library in this site or go to another site collection under the same web application or go to a site under another web application, would the issue still persist?

    It has been repaired in KB 5002342
