Because there is some private information stored in the channel, I want to prevent leakage. But I can't find the corresponding change method.

    Hi CATKING,

Currently it is not possible to convert an existing channel to private channel.

While this feature is in Engineering team backlogs.

Please kindly wait for further updates.

Unfortunately, you cannot change the "privacy" mode of a channel, once created. The only way to do that would be to remove the channel and create a new one, but that has the obvious downside of losing all the existing conversations stored therein.

This is in fact one of the most commonly requested feature improvements for Teams, and Microsoft has committed to providing a solution in the future. Make sure to add your voice here: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/idea/6cf579d1-e927-ed11-9db1-000d3a4d92e4
