ADF Inconsistent Linked Service ODBC connection

I have created a Linked Service of the type Odbc via a Self-Hosted IR. The connection is very inconsistent and sometimes it connects but most of the time it doesn't. The error I am getting is:

ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

I have researched this error and nothing has worked. The issue is not connecting at all it's the inconsistency, sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't so that eliminates that it's not the correct bit, driver etc.

As the issue is inconsistent and it has involved SHIR, ODBC driver, I recommend filing a support ticket for deeper investigation. There could be various reason but in order to figure it out, it has to be troubleshooted. Once a support ticket is filed, one of the support engineers can check your driver logs, SHIR logs and evaluate the root cause.

Please do share the SR# once it is filed so that we track it internally.
