Since we can't reproduce your situation, we need to narrow down the problem and try some things. Please make sure that you are able to access the site from the crawler server side.no issues with certificates.
- Verify that the user account that is performing this procedure is a member of the Farm Administrators Group.
- In Central Administration, in the Quick Launch, select General Application Settings.
- On the General Application Settings page, in the Search section, select Farm Search Administration.
- On the Farm Search Administration page, in the Farm-Level Search Settings section, set Ignore SSL warnings to Yes and run a full crawl to compare the results.

If the issue still exists, please check ULS log to find any clues.
To use SharePoint Log Viewer to view logs, by default SharePoint stored in .log files in 15 hive folder (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS).
