Dear Azure community! We have had some problems adding a ssl certificate we bought through Azure for website <redacted> we had to import the pfx instead of using the key vault which caused problems, also there was a problem with the www and non www part, it seems to work good now, when we check our own devices.
However we are still receiving messages from clients that virus scanner blocks access to the website because of missing ssl security. Could this be temporary?

Kind regards, Maurits

    Hi @Maurits ,

Based on the description, the possible reason might be your certificate might not be issued for the name the user is browsing for. Since you purchased the certificate from Azure, I recommend you to revisit the configuration. Follow the URL that guides you for the step by step configuration.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/configure-ssl-certificate?tabs=apex%2Cportal#buy-and-import-app-service-certificate

Also, you can analyze the certificate from the browser and see whether the required domains are shown in the certificate. For e.g. recently, I published a site ebuildercms.net with alternative names. see the certificate that is displayed in the browser.

You need to ensure your certificate's subject name and alternative names are valid.

    Hope this helps
