A very strange glitch appeared and I don't know where I should dig in the first place.

In this operating system, there is a appearing layout display panel that the user switches to. It appears on the right side the moment the user switches the layout. And it usually disappears afterwards. I'm not talking about the panel that appears on the taskbar, I'm talking about the panel on the side. It's a big one.

It does not disappear until you click on an object, or an empty space. I was only able to take a picture of this ugly thing from my phone, because it disappears if you press any key.

I have a similar panel at home on mac os. But after combining cmd+space the panel disappears and I have never seen such surprises.

Must I reinstall windows?

    Hello there,

This might be a temporary issue due to corrupted registry and simple sfc scan is enough to make sure this does not occus again.

System file check is a utility built into the Operating System that will check for system file corruption. The sfc /scannow command (System File Check) scans the integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect, corrupted, changed, or damaged versions with the correct versions where possible.

-Press the Windows key and X at the same time.

-Choose Command Prompt (Admin) from the context menu.

-In the command prompt, type sfc /scannow and hit Enter.

    -Exit command prompt.

-Restart the PC and see if this helps you.

Hope this resolves your Query !!

For me windows of course is not my primary system and I do not know it, but in my opinion, it is enough to create a new user and boot under it to localize the file and system issue. Did that once under winxp.

Should I definitely check the files for integrity?

Why is it necessary to check the files, or is it customary in case of any problem under microsoft windows os?

I just created a new user and booted under it - no such problem there.

Any other solutions to the issue?
