From looking at Erland Sommarskog's profile I'm trying to read his recent content. However, when I open the actual thread I don't see the answers or comments he made. Say, this thread [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1164278/guid-or-identity-the-millionaire-dollar-question doesn't show his recent comment. Several other threads also do not show new content.
I saw that where is a new answer by Dave Patric, but when I opened the thread I don't see it.

After I posted the comment I can now see it. That's inconvenient.

As usual, today I have a gripe! Surprise, surprise!
Todays contribution is related to this thread as it concerns the disjoint between the thread summary and the thread contents. As mentioned elsewhere - but I am so fed up with the forum that I will no longer search for previous posts on same point(s).
I look at thread list. There is a new post in the thread, as it says so at the bottom showing the posters name, and the fact that the thread has been elevated to the top of the list. So, a new post - I must read it!
It is claimed to be there so I search through, up and down, several times before deciding that the post is in fact NOT there!
Why is Microsoft content to waste many thousands of users time while they look for non existent posts? I bet there are many many hours of accumulated wasted time by members!
I am aware that if I wait long enough, the post will probably turn up. In the interim, I could waste my time several times over by repeating a search for the as yet non existent post!
The team is trying to fix these out of sync issues. You are correct though; they do eventually show up in most cases unless they get caught up by the issues with the content validation system and spam detection.
The team is aware of both of these concerns and are working to sort it out.

Comments are hard to spot until you know what to look for. They are collapsed by default so might check this.
Today I'm experiencing the same issue. I'm trying to see Erland's answers by looking at his profile and by opening his threads. I'm not seeing his latest answers in some of the threads.

I can see one answer. Might try to refresh or possibly an in-private session or a different browser.
When I manually add ?orderBy=oldest at the end of the thread's link I can see all the responses. Otherwise I continue to not see all responses when I just click on a thread from the view. Can this query string be added by default?

Today (as well as several days previous), I posted an answer. The thread list shows my post in the summary, but it is in fact not present in the thread itself.
I will refrain from making mocking comments, as the team can manage that all by themselves.
Further to my previous comment: my answer showed up about 30min after it was listed as being there in the Thread summary. Lo and behold, one of the code blocks I had posted contained a portion of the other code block appended onto the end.

This Forum is totally rubbish! I posted the answer post about 30min ago, it finally appeared but with some garbage code. Somehow, the second code block inherited part of the first code block and appended it - IT IS NOT PART OF FORM2 CODE (the last Sub routine which is beyond the proper code End Class statement.
Of course, this crude representation of a third class forum doesn't allow the author to edit his/her own content - Why? What is the reason for this, who had the stupid idea to prevent deletions/edits? A completely incompetent decision by someone who probably does.t use the forum.
So, now I have an answer to a question which is COMPLETE GARBAGE because of this and I can do nothing to correct it!
