Hello in here.

I have a question about background screensaver. My question is, can i launch mutliple pptx or jpg files as background from a folder.

ex. If i have a folder thats called \servername\backgrounds and it contains 2 or 3 pptx og jpg files, can i launch theese files via GPO? The gpo should reach the files by itself, if the jpg or pptx files changes. If i have 2 files called test.jpg and test2.jgp, then when the files changes to new pictures, the gpo just launches theese files, with the same names of course.

Dunno if this is possible, if yes, i would like a little guide "how to" :)

thx in advance

    Hello @Peter,

Thank you for posting in our Q&A forum.

Simply setting up an existing GPO configuration may not achieve what you want.
Like the steps in link below.

    https://www.hightechnology.in/how-to-apply-screen-saver-through-group-policy-in-a-domain/#:~:text=How%20to%20Apply%20Screen%20Saver%20Through%20Group%20Policy,Provide%20a%20name%20and%20click%20on%20OK.%20%E6%9B%B4%E5%A4%9A%E9%A1%B9%E7%9B%AE

I think you can try the steps in the following link, maybe it is what you want.

    Thx for the answer.

The only problem with this guide https://www.petenetlive.com/KB/Article/0001281 is that you have to set screensaver up on the client machine. Its a bit of a problem, the i have to do this on all pc´s in the company. Thats not a good solution, but i think its almost there :)
