Backup report emailing was initially set up using another user's account. There is need to setup a dedicated backup account that is not associated with any specific user and then we have the backup reports being sent from that email.

    Hello @Tinashe Randeni ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to answer your question.

Using the Email Report feature available in Backup Reports, you can create automated tasks to receive periodic reports via email. This feature works by deploying a logic app in your Azure environment that queries data from your selected Log Analytics (LA) workspaces, based on the inputs that you provide.

The connection account used for the logic app is the one that sends email from as shown in the below screenshot. If you already don't have any dedicated account, create one and update it on the logic app connections. All the backup reports will be sent through that email address. image

In case you also need to update the receivers email address, you need to update it in email tab. To do so, go to azure portal, Backup Center > Backup Reports and click on the Email Report tab.

    Hope this guidance helps :)
