SP 2013 end of support is Apr 2023. Using Sharegate to move the data to SP Online. Should be completed by Mar 2023.

The existing farm is virtualized, can I just stop the servers and delete them from disk?

Thanks,

Stan Noel

    Hi @Stanley Noel ,

Sure, you can delete the virtual farm after migrating when you make sure that your migration is successful. I would suggest keep the virtual farm for a while as a back up, let your users work on the migrated SP Online site to make sure no issue appears there. After verifying the new site works well, you can delete the old farm then.
