    Hi @Nancy Theobald ,

    The error message means the ‘Normalemail.dotm’ is the template used by Word for emails is corrupt and requires to be replaced by the new default template.

    You may try to rename the normalemail.dotm then try to open Outlook and verify the status.  

    1. Close Outlook.
    2. Open Run window (press and hold Windows key + R) then copy and paste the following text.
    3. C:\Users\es\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
    4. Right click on Normalemail.dotm and rename to Normalemail.old
