I have successfully configured. SQL managed instance Link feature to replicate Database from Azure SQL VM to SQL MI, after configuration, i have checked in Distributed AG where SQL mi is showing not connected, once I clicked over there to connect it's not taking FQDN (Full host name of SQL MI like -sqlmiinst01.5accbc362ec4.database.windows.net), it takes short name(sqlmiinst01). So unable to connect.

My understanding is that you are trying to replicate an Azure SQL on Vm to Azure SQL MI. Are you following the steps in the below doc to do the replication.
Replicate a database by using the link feature in SSMS - Azure SQL Managed Instance
Please also note that the Managed Instance link is supported on both the General Purpose and Business Critical service tier of Azure SQL Managed Instance.
To use the link feature with SQL Server, you'll need a supported Enterprise, Standard, or Developer edition of SQL Server running on Windows Server.
The following table lists the functionality of the link feature and the supported SQL Server versions:

SQL Server versions 2008 to 2014 aren't supported, because the link feature relies on distributed availability group technology, which was introduced in SQL Server 2016.

After successfully configuration, I am facing this problem in screenshot (In DAG MI is red).

I have followed below link to prepared Link feature, all the check are successful, even though I could not see my database on MI.
