Hi,
With the introduction of SQL Server 2022 it is possible to now connect to SQL Server and SSAS running on an Azure VM using SSMS and your Azure Active Directory credentials. This is quite useful.
We also use MSMDPUMP.DLL to connect to SSAS using HTTPS from Excel. If you are running Azure Analysis Services you can connect to the cubes and use your Azure AD credentials in excel no problems. However it appears that this is still not possible using MSMDPUMP.
Does any one know of way to do this or is this a possible future enhancement by Microsoft.
