This can be due to High CPU or Resources usage on this RDS server.
- Please try increase Resources on this Server.
- Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose.
- Install this KB update from http://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?familyid=238d774f-06e5-422c-b0dd-e1abf2667567
- Stop and Disable Smart Card Device Enumeration Service
