How do we change the VM nodes to other SKU?

I've deployed a ARO cluster with 3 master and 3 worker on D8s v3 sku, how do i scale it up or down to other type of VM SKU eg: D4as v4?

To scale up or down the VM SKU of your Azure Redhat Openshift cluster, you can use the Azure Resource Manager template. You can update the vmImageSku parameter in the template to the desired VM SKU. It is recommended to approach this change with caution and not to change the primary node type. Once you have made the changes, you can deploy the updated template using the New-AzResourceGroupDeployment command in PowerShell or the az deployment group create command in Azure CLI.

Additionally to the information shared by Prrudram.

There are 2 type od changes, one related to Worker nodes on ARO, and the second related to MASTER nodes of ARO cluster.

The first one, it's totally possible, to resize WORKER Nodes of ARO cluster on your own , please check the info here: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/7022857

The action of change MASTER NODES SKU SIZE it's not supported and it's not possible to be performed by you. Instead you need to open a ticket on our support team, asn SRE (RedHat) team will take care of this action. For Worked Nodes nothing changed, and you can do it from your end. But Master Nodes are managed only by Azure and RedHat team.
