Hello,

I created a user group policy to force end users\ servers background "user configurations" and it got applied as planned. Currently there are some PCs and server got black background and i did troubleshoot as following:

1- rsop.msc - GP is applied

2- gpresult /r - completed successfully

3- restarting the PC - no result

4- gpupdate /force - no result

5- checking event viewer " no error"

I noticed that when i singing with my credential "domain admin" then sing iut then the user logon with he's credential then the GP applied again, but this workaround not working with the other servers. Any idea

Things you can check is the Servers if they are in same OU as others, prirotiy of GPOs and order they are applied to the user. If a loopback is enabled check if not try to apply as this will overide server policy and always apply user policy https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/group-policy/loopback-processing-of-group-policy

    Hope this helps.
