I have been trying to get into a work/school account. When I login I use my email address and password and after that it then asks me for the Authenticator app code. My Authenticator app doesn't have this email account, and when I try to add it, the authenticator app asks for the authenticator code. I have tried selecting another option and it still keeps going back to need code from the authenticator app.
The IT person is me, I have no idea why this is happening, it's in some loop that won't fix itself. I have also tried installing the app and reinstalling and it still doesn't work to add the email account and there are no other options. I can't even access Azure to disable it because it has this authenticator loop code issue. I have also contacted Microsoft Support and so far those who I have talked to have seen this via screen share and have no idea what to do. To me Microsoft doesn't have away to go into there own software and find the account and bypass and have it disabled so I can get in. I've verified who I am multiple times and it seems there are no answers. Anyone else have this issue???
