When pressing play on the Azure text to speech browser app: "An error occurred while loading this demo, please reload and try again"

At the website: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/products/cognitive-services/text-to-speech/#overview,
when I press the play button to test text to speech in the app on the site, I get the error: "An error occurred while loading this demo, please reload and try again" I'm using Chrome. I've refreshed browser, cleared cookies and cache, reset my ip address, restarted the browser, and restarted the computer. I still get the error.
