Thank you for contacting Microsoft Open Specifications Support, after reviewing your post. It appeared it does not relate to protocols issues outlined under https://aka.ms/openspecsI am removing [Office Open Specifications] tag from your post.
From the error message, the account in Office could be signed out accidently and you may need to sign in Office with the account that has permission to open the workbook that saved in OneDrive. I would suggest you go to File>Account check if you have signed in the account. and please make sure you have connected to OneDrive service; you can see that status in the same Account pages either.
