Do Outlook on-send add-ins work with COM add-ins like Proofpoint that also trigger on send?

I have a client who has deployed our on-send add-in with Exchange Admin Center.

However, Proofpoint will often hang when our on-send add-in is also used. It never adds the subject "[secure]" as it should.

Is anyone else using Proofpoint and an on-send add-in?
