DNS Zones numbers below 32

Hi,

When creating Azure DNS zones, I keep getting zone numbers above 32.

I tried creating multiple DNS zones on different resource groups but never got zone numbers below 32.

In case you are wondering, I need the lower numbers for research purposes.

Are there any specific reasons behind this?

Can you please elaborate more on zone number mentioned above? are you referring to the serial number of SOA record in you DNS zone?

I mean, like: ns1-38.azure-dns.com

The number is 38 in this case, and it's always above 32 for me. I was wondering why I don't get lower ns numbers like for instance 6

I am pretty sure some accounts are capable of getting those.

all domains I have currently linked to an Azure DNS Zone have a number below 10. Can you elaborate on your 'research purposes' that require a specific low number here, since I cannot imagine the meaningfulness of this number?
