Failure to enable additional context (app name and geo location) in MFA settings.

Hello everyone,

We are trying to enable the additional context in Microsoft Authentication to show app and location information while sending the authentication push notification. The included and excluded groups are the same in the 'Enable and Target' and 'Configure' tabs in the Microsoft Authentication settings in the Microsoft Entra Admin Center.

After changing the configuration for 'Show application name in push and passwordless notifications' or 'Show geographic location in push and passwordless notifications' from Disable to Enable and clicking on save, we get the message 'The policy did not save successfully'.

If we change the setting to 'Microsoft managed', it saves successfully but later will change back to Disabled again.

Contacting Microsoft support was not successful, they could not solve the issue and advised us to create an Azure support request.

Has anyone had the same issue and had it resolved? We really appreciate your help. Thanks
