    Hello bob tway

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

Adding to previous response from Dave, Yes, you can connect to an Azure virtual machine (VM) using a Chromebook.

Make sure the Azure VM's firewall rules to allow remote desktop connections, and you may also need to have appropriate permissions and credentials to access the VM.

    • In the Chromebook open the Google Chrome web browser.
    • Search for the "Microsoft Remote Desktop" app in Chrome Web Store and Install the app and launch it.
    • Click the "New" button to create a new remote desktop connection.
    • Enter the IP address or DNS name of your Azure VM in the "PC name" field.
    • Click the "Save" button to save the connection settings and double-click on the connection name to connect to the Azure VM.

    Hope this helps.
