I have a plan AD migration from win 2012R2 to win 2022 on Azure.
Remote Desktop License Manager service is running on win 2012R2 DC.

So, I am considering to move Desktop License Manager service to win 2022 as well.
But I am not sure which way is better to move or keep at same version 2012R2.
I would appreciate if you could guide me.

Is that compatible from windows server 2012R2 to windows server 2022 if we migrate?
Is there any migration method for Remote Desktop License Manager?

Current Remote Desktop License Manager version windows server 2012 R2
License model Installed RDS per device CAL

    Hi @risolis

    Thank you for your reply.
    I see the migration method.

But I could not imagine the process of before and after migration.
For e.g before migration , I am not sure whether I need to do deactivate the source server or not.
Could you please tell me what I need to prepare at source before migration and after migration?
During migration, I want to avoid the downtime for devices and users.
