    Yes, that's a known issue and Microsoft is aware of that. They're now working on that trying to find a solution. Let's wait for the fix. Thanks for your understanding.

    I was probably unclear in question number one.

    WSUS keep offering the latest version of Edge (currently version 111.0.x), which is incompatible with 2012 R2- to 2012 R2 servers.

    Perhaps MS could check the packet filtering so that it is not offered to 2012 R2?

    Microsoft Edge version 109 will be the last version supported on Windows Server 2012 and Windows 2012 R2. Microsoft Edge version 109 will receive critical security fixes and fixes for known exploit bugs until October 10, 2023, on these platforms. For more information, you can also refer to this blog.

    If there's an update, WSUS will push it then users can install. No additional configuration is needed to continue receiving the updates on Windows Sever 2012 R2, so long as you are on Edge Stable 109. On Windows Server 2012 R2, Edge Stable 109 updates will continue to be available through all of the usual channels (Auto update, WSUS Packages, Microsoft Update Catalog Site, etc.).
