'Request denied' - Microsoft Authenticator on my phone

Hi,

I wasn't doing anything and a Request to authenticate popped up on my phone. As I wasn't trying to sign in anywhere I denied the request and also clicked on 'report' the activity as I thought someone might be trying to log in to my account.

After when I tried to get into my account, the app wouldn't authenticate me. It keeps coming up with 'Request denied'. It seems like I reported my own phone and now it's blocked or something and I can't authenticate and log into my own account.

Can someone help please? It's my university account so I don't think I'm the admin and I can't access the Azure Active Directory to unblock the phone.

    Hi

I will suggest you to contact your IT support team in the University to unlock or reset the MFA settings, there should a dedicated team to help out in this scenario.

    Hope this helps.
