Cannot connect to printer on network windows 10 server

I have a laptop with Windows 11 and when I connect to a local network with Windows 10 server I cannot install printer connected to that server. The printer name shows on network scree, but when I try to connect it shows error. Same error shows when I try to 'Add printer' option. I have updated both windows to latest updates. I have updated printer driver to latest. I have tried all sharing options on server but no help.

Please guide,its urgent.

    Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Printer not connecting.

    1. Go to %WINDIR%\system32\spool\PRINTERS in the list of results, and then delete all files in the folder.
    2. Please try to Turn Off then On Printer
    3. Please reboot server on which this printer is connected.
    4. Disable any Antivirus program or Windows firewall you may have for temporary purpose on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC.

    I don't understand what error you are getting. Can you include the error message or hex code of the error. If invalid printer name or error 0x709 make sure the computer name of the machine sharing the printer is not more than 15 characters. The spooler only supports the first 15 characters of the machine name. Thanks
