May I confirm if you can connect to the extensions marketplace now?
If you are going to install extension into VS, normally there are two ways to access the extensions marketplace:
- From VS => click Extensions => Manage Extensions => Online => Visual Studio Marketplace.
- Directly access the extensions marketplace.
Please try the other way if one of this two didn’t work.
Besides, there are several other aspects that I suggest you check again:
- Make sure that the network connection is good and try to switch to use another network if possible.
- Make sure that there’s no limit or application(antivirus/proxy/extensions) which may block you from connecting to the extensions marketplace.
- Try to clean browser cache and test again or try to use another browser to connect to the extensions marketplace.
