When I try to open my laptop (Windows 7)....it says "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: 1. Insert your Windows installation disk and restart your computer. 2. Choose your language settings, then click "Next." 3. Click " Repair your computer " If you do not have this disk, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance. Status: 0xc000000f Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible. " I don't have the installation disk and I don't know how to contact "my system administrator or computer manufacturer"

Windows 7 is out of support. The best option may be to try installing a supported operating system as a replacement.

If no install CD or DVD is available, you can boot into Safe Mode and run System Restore. Before you begin, note that you can't undo a restore if you run it from Safe Mode. Or, you can run System Restore via the System Recovery Options menu: Turn the computer and press the F8 key as above.
