Hi All,

I would like to deploy screen saver to the conference room computers via Intune. I found the section for creating profile which I did but I couldnt figure out where to upload my photos to present in the lock screen.

I would like to attach JPEG photo to present as a screen saver.

Configuration profiles > Templates > Administrative Templates > search "screen saver" in intune portal.

Can you help me out?

Thank you!

@Miray Iren Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, please pay attention to the setting "Force specific screen saver". It is suggested to save your photos in %Systemroot%\System32 directory (usually is C:\Windows\System32) and then type the name of the file that contains the screen saver.

And this setting is available in User type, so please assign this configuration profile to a user group.

Hope it will give you some ideas.

I tried to do this some months ago, with Windows 10 & 11 you would want to do this in modern way, but I couldn't find any decent way to control this setting for slideshow with policies. Ideally you would have a policy which specifies that Background setting would be Slideshow and option to set a path to pictures, but this control method just does not exists.

Yes, .scr file is needed. You can create it by 3rd party app which usually requires a license. I investigated same matter less than 6 month ago. @Miray Iren
