Fail to create a new database at Japan East region in Azure

Question

I can’t choose the field of compute+storage when I tried to create Azure SQL Single Database.
The error message says “Unable to retrieve the pricing configuration data for this region at this moment. Please retry.”.

Can someone help me fix this issue? Thanks.

As I understand, you are not able to create Azure SQL Database into Japan East Region. The error message says “Unable to retrieve the pricing configuration data for this region at this moment. Please retry.”

Sorry about the inconvenience you are facing.

I tried to reproduce the scenario and could create instance in Japan East Region:

This could be an intermittent issue, you may wait and try again in sometime.

Or the issue might be due to quota, please request for quota increase as described here.

Please try above options if this helps in your case. If not, do let us know so that we can look for other options to unblock you.
