Cant login to local administrator account, Work email account via Azure has locked me out.

Question

Hi everyone.

 

So I recently added my work email to my home personal PC – and it has now taken over via Azure and locked me out of my local account. Password for local account is not letting me in (even though i did not set one up) and it wont let me delete the work email account nor change it,

My IT Team have advised they are not able to disconnect this from their side either and now i cannot access any of my personal files on my C Drive which include my wedding pictures and I do not want to have to reset my computer and lose all my files.

 

Has anyone faced this problem and able to provide a solution? Ideally want to unlink my Work account from my PC – and restore the local account?

 

Note - I have tried activating the hidden administrator account but it says i do not have permissions to do this.

Thank you for your question and reaching out. I can understand you are having query\issues related to Local Admin.

Yes, It can be due to your Organization policies that Local Admin have been disabled using GPO.

If you really need to Local account Data then try to Unjoin your work account then back up your Data then again Join to your Work account.
