Creating customized model how do I select the base model

Hello All,

I am trying to fine tune model in Azure OpenAI. I currently have 2 models already deployed, and others still available to be deployed but when trying to create customized model, no option is available under the 'base model type', only saying no models are available. Please check your access or try again later. I have the access, and it's said this for a week or two now. Hopeful someone has encounter this before.

There are restrictions on the models and regions where fine-tuning is available. Are you using a supported region/model? Here is the document for your reference: Azure OpenAI Service models - Azure OpenAI | Microsoft Learn. Please confirm and let us know the region and model details you are using.

I hope either of these might be the reasons for this issue. Please check and let us know.

Im trying to do the same in west-us region with one deployment - no customised models, and im unable to select any of the base models at all for customisation.

Hi @Cloud DevOps , I don't think west-us region is available. Have you tried with another available region? Please refer to Model Summary table and region availability: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cognitive-services/openai/concepts/models#model-summary-table-and-region-availability

Let me also check on this internally.
