Wrong error message: "We do not have sufficient capacity for the requested VM size in this zone."

After using a NV8as_v4 machine for the last week in UK South region it comes up today with the following error:

Allocation failed. We do not have sufficient capacity for the requested VM size in this zone. Read more about improving likelihood of allocation success at http://aka.ms/allocation-guidance[Learn]() more about common virtual machine error codes.

I also tried to change the size to NV4as v4 though the same error occurs.

We have a lot of work stored on the OS disk and the data disk. I tried all kinds of ways to bring it back to life but no success and I feel like all data is lost.

I could also create another VM in that size in the same location, so I don't think the error message is correct. Something else must have gone wrong when the automatic daily shutdown happened.

Any advice on how to access the data is apprecaited.

Thanks a lot
