According to your description, it seems that Contact card displays wrong information in Outlook client.
- Does the problem only happen to one user?
- When did the problem occur? Search for contacts in GAL or directly open the contact card in people?
You can force an update OAB via the Send/Receive menu button in Outlook client.
Go to Send/Receive> Send/Receive Groups-> Download Address Book
