Outlook 365 strips content from original email after it has been forwarded

We use Outlook 365 but other Office products are local.

Occasionally, after an email I receive has been forwarded, the content in the original email in my inbox is partially or wholly stripped from the email. The forwarded email in my sent folder has all of the content, but the original email that I received now is partially or wholly blank. Today, for the first time, it happened when I replied to an email. Below is an image of the reply email in my sent folder with full content, then the original email after reply with partial content. Everything below the signature line was deleted in the original email sitting in my inbox.

I have seen questions were the recipient doesn't see the content or attachments get stripped, but that is not the case here. It's only on my end, and only the original received email, that has content stripped.

Thanks.

    Hi @Administrator ,

    Welcome to our forum!

According to your description, i notice that you have done the following test: forward the email you received to yourself and then you found that the forwarded email received in your Inbox folder is different from the forwarded email in your Sent Items folder, specifically the content of forwarded email received in Inbox is missing, right?

If so, the most obvious difference I noticed is that the link in the forwarded email in the Inbox folder disappears, in order to further confirm if the issue is related to the link, please try to test another email without link & email with other links to check if there're any differences.

On the other hand, in order to further confirm if the issue is related to your current Outlook 365 desktop client, it's suggested that you could log in to web mail and do the same test or forwarded the email to other users to check if there're any differences.
