Disabled user still searchable in teams app

After we disable a user's account both in on-prem and azure AD, we can still search the user on Teams apps (web and desktop app). I checked if it is because the O365 license is still assigned to her but I also tried to check other accounts that has been disabled last month and still have license allocation and I can no longer search for it. Is there a replication period before it can be completely removed? If yes, how log? Thank you.

It will take up some time, maybe more than 24 hours, to take effect after you delete an account.
It is sure that you can check user’s sign-in event by audit log if his account is signed into Teams.
