Component Names in separate Sequence Containers

Just wondering if it is ok to have the same named Data Flow Tasks...and its sub-components...as the same name that appears in a different Sequence Container? Or for all purposes should the Data Flow Tasks...and its sub-components...have unique names?

The XML doesn't seem to mind or care when we run and test our SSIS Package in Microsoft Visual Studio.

Thanks in advance for your review and am hopeful for a reply.

    Hi @Bobby P,

    Do you mean like this? The Sequence Containers name is different but the tasks in them are the same?

    From my opinion, if the system does not report the error, and then you could do that.

    In common different data flows do different things and so I prefer to name them also different, depending on what they do, so I can easilier identify them.
