HTTP error 500 usually means that there is an issue on the server-side. It is possible that there is a problem with the Yammer service in those specific tenants. Since other users in those tenants can access Yammer, it is less likely to be a licensing issue. It is also unlikely to be related to your global admin rights, as global admins should have access to all services within their tenants. I would suggest reaching out to Microsoft support to investigate the issue further. You can open a support ticket from the Microsoft 365 admin center, or through the Microsoft support website. They should be able to provide more detailed information and help resolve the issue.
persona.yammer.com is unable to handle this request
Hello there,
Anyone please assist: I am currently seeing the error: persona.yammer.com is unable to handle this request. HTTP Error 500.
Some context to this: I am global admin in three M365 tenants. I have a business basic license on one, a business standard on another, and a business premium on the third one. I am getting the error on the business basic and standard tenants, but not on the business premium tenant. I'm just trying to understand the cause of this, but I highly doubt it is the licensing, because other users on the tenants can access Yammer. Could it be something to do with my global admin rights?
I have tried using different computers, browsers, hard resetting tabs, clearing cache, but still, no change. I cannot access both the app and the admin side of it.
Any insights on this will be highly appreciated.
