can not mstsc to a server via dns name

Question

"I access the remote server through Remote Desktop, and I can log in to the remote desktop through an IP address. However, when I use a domain name to remotely access, I encounter a prompt of 'login failure'.". The IP obtained by ping and nslookup for the domain name is consistent. Check the event log ID and there is a log with ID 1158. How can I solve this problem

Hello there,

Have you made any recent updates that you are aware of on this device? If so try uninstalling them and check if this sorts out the issue

For some users flushing the DNS on the system solved the issue

ipconfig /flushdns
